    About Ashton C.

Hello potential student! My name is Ashton, and I'm a teacher by trade. I teach students with dyslexia how to read and spell, and I've been doing so since high school. I love language; I'm taking classes to learn about the history and function of English. I really enjoy teaching English not as a language with a bunch of flaws, but as a language with a rich history and rules that aren't always obvious. Crocheting is one of my hobbies, and I'm always thrilled to pass it along to the next generation of crafters. I take martial arts because I believe in being an empowered, confident female, and I always treat my students like the capable individuals that they are!
