    I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, having completed a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). I have a carefree and easy-going demeanor and my ability to articulate when cueing poses helps make yoga accessible to all students ranging from beginner to advanced. I love technology and enjoy teaching virtually as well as in person! I created a private studio to share my passion with others. As a high school Spanish teacher, I love being creative and making each class fun and unique, traits I bring to my yoga teaching. During the pandemic, I founded the Yoga Club for the high school students, offered weekly Zoom yoga classes to her fellow staff members, and now continue to teach yoga to both students and adults. Each week, I teach online classes to people in the community, in-person classes at Midtown Athletic Club, and do mindfulness workshops for students and teachers. I train weekly with a mentor teacher as well as take yoga classes from other teachers to gain new ideas and strengthen my own practice.

    Hi there! My three passions are teaching Spanish (13+ years), Yoga, and ESL! I have an Undergraduate and Master's degree in Spanish as well as an Endorsement in ESL. I have my 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification through Midtown Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Alliance. I am flexible and fun-loving. I make lessons interactive and engaging. I take pride in helping students succeed and find passion in their subjects. I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years! Many years ago, my doctors recommended that I try yoga to help with stress in my life. After many years of running marathons and half marathons, yoga also provided me a great physical workout but was more gentle on my body. I am a full time teacher, part-time yoga instructor, and dog mom. I found yoga during a time of extreme stress and anxiety in my life and fell deeper in love with yoga after dealing with some chronic pain issues and multiple injuries. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years and decided to become a certified yoga instructor to share my passion with others. I currently teach at Midtown Palatine as well as through my own business called NamAshte Yoga. Yoga has provided me with a great physical workout while also being gentle on my body. In our yoga classes, we will gently ease into poses by moving, stretching, and unwinding. You will leave class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I truly believe that yoga is for everybody and every BODY, so no experience is necessary. As a high school Spanish teacher and ESL teacher, I am passionate about bringing creativity into each and every class. Just as my Spanish classes are never the same for my students, each yoga class is fun and unique!
