I am currently a junior at Ramapo College studying music education but I am no foreigner to teaching. I have been teaching for some years now with general ages ranging between 3 to 25, in the violin, viola and cello. I have also taught music theory from a beginner's standpoint to a college sophomore level in conjunction with teaching said instruments. I have a passion for teaching that I love to give my students the passion of learning as teaching is not only fun, but also one of the most rewarding experiences in life as is having the guidance and educational support of a good teacher. Students can expect my 110% effort and know they can depend on me for consistency, accuracy and personalized lesson plans based on the level and goals they want to achieve. I aim to foster a supportive learning environment for my students in their homes or practice space of their choice as the main root of discontinuity in studies is the lack of support and passion. Feel free to contact me at anytime should any questions arise and remember, music is about having fun, so let's have fun!+ Read More
my grand daughters 1st lesson was great,,ashley took time to tune violin, explained the the whole instrument and how to properly take care of instrument can not wait for my grand daughters next lesson
I really enjoyed my 1st lesson with Ashley. She gave me hope that I’m not a basket case. I feel encouraged that I might someday play well enough not to send people running for earplugs or exits.
