About Ashley L.
Hello! My name is Ashley and I am a professional vocalist who is currently working on my Masters in Music in Chicago, IL. I received my undergraduate degree from Towson University in Baltimore, MD in 2015 and am passionate about performing and teaching voice and acting. I have won several singing competitions including the Baltimore Music Club Competition in Voice, the Henry Sanborn Competition, the Lieberman Competition, and the Friedman-Gordon Competition. The last couple of opera roles I have performed include The Queen of the Night in Mozart's Magic Flute, Susanna in Act II of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, and the title role in Seymour Barab's Little Red Riding Hood. I have had a lot of performance experience as I have been singing and studying voice since I was 11 years old. I teach a very healthy, classical singing technique focusing on the breath and finding your own individual voice.
