Hi, I’m Ashley! I’ve been doing this tutoring thing for a while now (2 years), and I’ve been writing for even longer (10+ years). I sometimes joke that writing is the only thing I’m good at, but that’s not true at all– I’m pretty good at teaching, too. Then again, I am about to graduate with a B.A in English (with a concentration in Writing & Publication, naturally), so maybe the knack for teaching comes with the territory.

Anyway, I’ve had my own writing showcased in 4 different publications (both academic and creative). I’ve also presented my writing at conventions in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Fairfax. For the last 4 years I’ve worked as a part-time library assistant, where I taught computer training classes to adults and seniors in between helping with the teen program and shelving tons of books. I’ve also been a college-level writing tutor for a variety of different subjects and essay types. I would love to help you with anything English or writing related that you may struggle with! Sign up for a writing lesson and I’ll spill some of my secrets and help you learn enough about the writing process to uncover your own.
