English (ESL) with Ashlen E.

Hello! I am a recent college graduate currently living in Northern California in the United States. I have a deep passion for working with children. I enjoy making creative lesson plans that reflect my students interests and goals. In college, I studied Child Development, which has helped me gain a deeper understanding of children’s thinking and learning. I hope to spend many years teaching English abroad before returning to the United States to teach English to second language learners. I have worked with children in a variety of settings including preschools, elementary schools, and individually. For the past three years, I have been a caretaker to two children ages five and seven. It has been very rewarding to see them grow over this time and I deeply enjoy being able to spend one-on-one time with them.
