I have six years of bedside pediatric nursing in which I taught patients, parents, nursing students, new nurses, and even some medical students. I have also begun a Master's of Nursing program and have completed about half of it, so now I am a student again too! I love to learn and I love to teach people.

Ashlee has a unique background in nursing due to her work on a medical-surgical unit, being a chairman of a safety and quality committee, as well as being an active member of several nursing professionals committees. She has been a preceptor for graduate nurses, new staff members and students. She was a large part of my orientation experience as well. She works hard to make sure new staff members are aware of the educational resources throughout The hospital and nursing field. She is a great asset to the nursing field as well as the nursing orientation process at our magnet status hospital.

Ashlee has great clinical experience in a regional academic hospital and uses that experience to inspire and motivate students. She also serves as a great resource for online education as she has served in patient safety and is involved in professional Nursing Associations.
