Suzuki Method with Asher B.

I am a professional singer/songwriter and guitarist with a degree from Berklee College of Music. I have been performing throughout the country, particularly in the Midwest and East Coast, as an original singer/songwriter, and wedding and private event musician since 2013. My original material has received national media attention, including a feature on Iowa Public Radio, and has been featured as the #1 singer/songwriter on ReverbNation. In the evenings, I have a full schedule of private events and weddings. During the day, I enjoy sharing what I know with students of all ages and backgrounds. My passion is music, and I would love the chance to help you learn and fall in love with playing music as well. During the first lesson, I like to talk with you about your goals and how you learn best. I always tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual student, and believe it is my responsibility as a teacher to make learning fun and engaging for the student. I have several options of standard coursework we can follow if a weekly plan is best. Otherwise, I enjoy following the student's lead and spending our time together on what you would like to work on.
