I began my teaching studio in Glenview, IL as a current music student having only a small handful of students. Over the years, I've had to relocate twice (to Chicago, IL and Iowa City, IA), due to my musical studies. In May 2013, I reestablished my permanent studio in Glenview, IL and currently have a steadily growing music studio. I began my musical studies, playing the violin, when she was 7 years old. When I turned 9, I also took on the flute and piano, both of which became my primary instruments. I hold a Bachelor of Musical Arts Degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts (Roosevelt University) and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa. I enjoy playing a wide variety of music, ranging from Classical to Video Game Music. Over the years, I have participated in various musical ensembles such as high school marching band (flute section leader), symphonic band (principal flautist + piccolo player), symphony orchestra (principal piccolo player), chamber music groups, and university chorus. I have also had opportunities to be a part of intensive summer music programs abroad (for piano and flute) during my middle school years in Osaka, Japan and, later during my university studies, in Vienna, Austria.
