    About Ash A.

Hello my lovely students! My name is ASH! I am a fun, creative teacher full of love for life! I am a professional singer, songwriter, performer, and recording artist. I am a full-time musician because music is what I love to do and what I do best! It is my passion to help you on your music journey, whether your goal is to increase your vocal range, overcome stage fright, or learn how to write your own music! I work with all ages and levels, so whatever your goals may be, I will help you achieve them. Other than teaching voice lessons, I love to spend my time performing at venues, auditioning for shows, and writing music! My voice students can expect to learn about: -Vocal technique -Proper Vocal Care -Vocal Anatomy & Body Mapping (depending on the level) -Song Analysis -Basic Music Theory & Aural Skills -Increasing Range -Performance technique I have a Centennial Honors Psychology Degree from Western Illinois University, with a minor in music. I studied music therapy for my first two years of college, so I have quite a bit of music experience and music therapy practice under my belt! I have experience working with many different populations, from seniors to children with disabilities. I believe in GOING AFTER YOUR DREAMS and BELIEVING IN YOURSELF! In lessons, I emphasize a lot of reframing negative or limiting beliefs behind music, performing, and artistry to help you become the most confident and amazing singer you can possibly be!
