Teaching since:

I hold two doctoral degrees--a PhD in music theory and a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in music composition. I have written music for singers, bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles. I am also a professional guitarist, and have been performing pop, rock, jazz, and contemporary classical music for over 20 years. In addition, I am the author of the ear training book "Tonal SIght Singing, The Book".

I have 18 years of teaching experience, including 8 years at the college level. I have taught guitar, piano, music theory, composition, songwriting, and sound production. My students range from beginners to doctoral candidates in music.
