It seeks to enhance the educational and performance expertise in all areas of music teaching, including performance, pedagogy, theory, and composition. I've been teaching guitar since 2009 and I'm excited to bring my tried and true teaching methods to you. From the most basic chords to music theory, I make sure that all my students have a well-rounded understanding of the instrument and the tools to teach themselves even when not in a lesson.

My teaching method involves mixing music theory with practical application. When I teach a student a song, I don't just give them the chords, but rather I explain why certain chords are used where and how the song was written. This in depth approach allows students to train their ears to song structure and will give them the ability to improvise and maybe even make their own songs. All the while my instruction will ensure that they have the technical proficiency to follow their ear.
