About Arun G.
Hi! My name is Arun. Although I currently work as a consultant for Bain & Company, I have played chess competitively since age 10. My current USCF rating is 1874, and I have experience coaching both kids/adults since 2007. My coaching style is laid-back and open - I think it's important that chess remain a fun activity, even during lessons!
I also love teaching math. I have a degree in Mathematics & Economics from Dartmouth College, and have participated in math competitions (such as the AMC, AIME, etc) from a young age. I can tutor any material through the high school level.
