I provide music lessons to the students of all ages. My main goal is to teach students a wonderful art of music performance and I strive to provide the best music education possible. Each kid and adult is an individual and has its own needs and dreams. I use a variety of music methods and tailor music lessons for each person individually. For the younger piano students, I require to purchase methods books (Faber’s Piano Adventures). For more advanced students I choose a set of etudes, scale books, exercises and musical pieces that fits student’s level the best and help with gaining needed skills. For the saxophone and clarinet students, I use variations of methods, etudes, pieces to achieve great results. If the saxophone or clarinet students have the piano at home I will be accompanying their pieces sometimes. In addition to this, I give a chance to play pieces with play along songs and my wind students can collaborate with my piano students and perform the songs together during the recitals. Artem is a New York-based musician who teaches and performs the clarinet, saxophone, and piano. Artem was born and raised in Ukraine, where he studied music at the Kiev Special Music School for gifted kids named after N.V. Lysenko before he moved to the U.S. He has numerous music awards and twice participated in concert tours in Germany. Artem appeared as a soloist and chamber musician at National Philharmonic of Ukraine (Kiev, Ukraine), The National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine, Lincoln Hall (Portland), Newmark Theatre (Portland), Loewe Theater (New York) and many more. As an orchestra musician, Artem performed with New York University Orchestra, Portland Choir & Orchestra, Oregon Pro Arte Youth Chamber Orchestra, Portland State University Symphony, Portland State University Wind Symphony. Artem holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and currently working on his Master’s Degree at New York University where he masters his clarinet skills with a member of New York Philharmonic – Pavel Vinnitsky. Artem studied and participated in master classes with many great musicians such as James Shields, Rolf Weber, Barbara Heilmair, Hedwig Swimberghe, Frank Kowalsky and Yuri Vasilevich.
