I'm fluent in Dutch and English. I grew up in the Netherlands and moved to the United States a few years ago.
I'm a teacher with a bachelor degree in education. I believe a good teacher can make a livelong difference. In my 8+ years experience with tutoring and teaching I've learned that studying is more than just the knowledge of the subject. I’m Aron a science teacher and Dutch tutor. I’m also an academic coach and ACT-SAT trainer, specialized in test taking strategies.
I believe my style of teaching can make a difference. I'm excited about teaching and helping others.
Students describe me as enthusiastic and caring. They often mention my quality to explain difficult topics in an easy way. My specialty is in Biology, but I have over 9 years of experience in multiple fields and subjects of tutoring and teaching.
I was born in the Netherlands and I have a degree in Education from the University of Utrecht. I believe teaching and explaining new content is a craft by itself, were the student is always at the center; no matter the subject, I'll find a way that you will learn and understand it.

What a GREAT experience this has been. Aron is well organized, and he takes time during the first lesson to get to know you and your goals. He then customizes his lessons to what your unique needs. Aron creates a comfortable environment for you to learn without judgement. I highly recommend Aron as an instructor.

Aron is an excellent tutor and I can't recommend him enough.
I went into these lessons speaking no Dutch at all and having fairly specific goals in mind.
He made a point to understand my goals and tailor his lessons to match. He is always well-prepared and is flexible enough to adjust lessons on the fly as needed. His relaxed and encouraging approach creates a positive learning environment while staying focused on making progress.
I highly recommend learning Dutch with Aron!
