Upright Bass with Armeen G.

My name is Armeen, and I am a professional double bassist, teacher, and music arranger. I graduated from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY with my Master's of Music in Double Bass Performance. I have taught students from elementary, middle school, high schools, and colleges, in settings ranging from orchestras, to marching bands, to rock bands, and more! I am confident that no matter what your goals are, we can work together to help you reach them. My students can expect to improve week to week in their technique and musicality. I have experience working with all levels of bass students, from beginners picking up a bow for the first time all the way to double bass music majors at the collegiate level. No matter who I am working with, I want my students to be able to read music, understand the principles of pitch and rhythm, and be able to use their skills to create the music they enjoy playing! All lessons are flexible and are tailored to each student's needs, abilities, and goals. Every student is unique and I want to collaborate with my students to find a method of learning that works for them. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
