My name is Ari F., I'm 22 years old.
Currently, I'm studying at Kean University, for a degree in Music Education K-12 with Teacher Certification.
I am a 3.8 GPA student who has been studying cello since I was 8 and piano since I was 3, and the other strings instruments since I was 15. I have always been good at all subjects, but have had a love for music. Music can benefit the brain in incredible ways, especially for children! Please ask me about these benefits and I can give you support academic research.
I have a permissive teaching style that is sensitive to developmental disability and mental illness but also can be quite harrowing and strict if you have the desire to truly become a great musician. I practice all my instruments daily--I expect my students to do the same. :)
My specialties are strings, music theory, and piano. I'm very energetic and expect genuine effort from all my students. I try to make things fun, so I hope you try too!
A great studio with an amazing space! Has great books for sale, weighted keyboards in every room, and fantastic acoustics. My favorite place to work.
My home studio is my parents' home. I own a beautiful baby grand Yamaha, with plenty of room to play music. Lots of sunlight filters in. A very good, quiet place to focus on lessons.
Knows what I need to do to be better....very professional.
Ari was a great teacher...She was very competent, professional, patient and courteous...If I do start lessons again,I will definitely ask for her...
Ari has made both my children very comfortable with her. As soon as she rings the doorbell, the kids go running to greet her. She’s a wonderful and pleasant person and has been instrumental in having the kids become interested in playing the piano.
Ari is a nice and sincere teacher and as a person as well. She is very patient and also very keen in understanding my difficult areas and helps me in those lines.
She was very friendly and went through all necessary basic steps to the violin.
