As a life-long pianist, I was lucky to be able to pursue my passion of teaching piano full-time after my children went off to college. I have enjoyed teaching professionally for the past 10 years. I teach elementary and secondary education students the finer points of piano theory, performance and artistry. My past students have received superior ratings at NFMC Junior Festivals and completed successful auditions for arts magnet schools. However, I think learning to play piano for enjoyment alone is very beneficial for empowerment and educational benefits. I recently relocated from Florida to the Western suburbs of Chicago and am excited to expand my studio!

Miss Arden was our 3 children's piano teacher for 6 years and was an amazing teacher! We were so lucky to have found her when we moved to Miami. She is the most patient, kind and sweetest teacher who has taught our children a gift that they will cherish forever. They always looked forward to their weekly lessons and especially the holiday and end of the year recitals which Miss Arden made so special. She was also very flexible with changing lesson times if there was a conflict. Our kids loved having her as their piano teacher and we truly miss her! We highly recommend Miss Arden for your teacher!!

Arden was my daughter's piano teacher for 4 years and she was amazing! She was extremely patient and encouraging. My daughter truly looked forward to her weekly piano lessons with Arden and was very disappointed when Arden moved away.

We used Arden when she lived in Miami to teach piano to both of my daughters. She is kind, compassionate and has an infectious love of piano. She was patient with both of them and flexible with our schedules. She knew exactly how to praise them for practicing and encourage them when they missed a week. Anyone would be lucky to have Arden as their piano teacher!

I taught students of all ages piano lessons in their homes. In addition to individual lessons, I offered a series of enrichment activities. For example, to strengthen performance skills in a low-stress environment, I facilitated regular group classes/performances where students could share their favorite pieces, progress and support each other.
