Music Theory with Araya B.

My name is Araya and I am 23 years old. I am a classically trained violinist as well as a singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist. Previously I taught in Oregon but now I am located in Mesa Arizona. Starting January of 2020 I started teaching beginner violin privately locally, and now teach beginner violin online as well. In my lessons I teach students the correct way to hold the bow and instrument, read music, master basic music theory, as well as improving the quality of their sound. I start by teaching the basics, then I build on that. It’s important to have a solid foundation so that students can be most successful. I have been playing the violin for thirteen years. When I lived in Oregon , I had been a part of The Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon and Three Rivers Community Orchestra. Currently I teach beginner violin students locally as well as online. I am attending college at Mesa Community College currently and will transfer to Grand Canyon University to earn a Bachelors Degree in Music. I am very passionate about teaching violin to beginner students.
