East Knox County Elementary

At East Knox County Elementary, I held an interim position. I taught grades K-5 music classes. We performed three separate musicals throughout the year, and we also learned these skills: Reading music Playing percussion instruments Singing Writing music

Dyllis Elementary School

I am a K-12 certified teacher as well as a flute instructor. I have worked in the elementary schools as a general music teacher. At Dyllis Elementary, I taught grades K-5. Some skills included: Reading music Playing percussion instruments Singing Performing in school musicals

Harriman High School

At Harriman High, I taught 9-12 Chorus, leading my students to second place in the district Show Choir competition for two years in a row.

University of Tennessee

While earning my Master's degree in Flute Performance, I held an assistantship with the flute professor at the University of Tennessee. My responsibilities included teaching undergraduate flute lessons 15+ hours per week.
