Tap Dance

I've been teaching dance for 17 years,   Tap has always been my favorite, my students have gone on to develop a deep love of dance, perform on stage and compete with teams.  Within the first few lessons you will learn basic tap steps, and as time goes on, you'll be able to remember combinations and rhythms.  You'll learn choreography and time steps. I love working with students of all levels. I can't wait to meet you.

Presented my Bachelors from Oklahoma City University in 2001. I have been an energetic Tap, Jazz & Ballet teacher since 1999. I can help you learn the basic skills and techniques of tap dancing very easily in the comfort of your own home.  I'm experienced in the classroom and great at progressing a private student. If this is something you've always wanted to do? I can get you there.  All you need is just a few things to get started and of course "me" to professionally instruct, guide and help you reach that goal or simply have that experience you've always dreamed of.

April was very patient with me as a beginner and gave me feedback on the skills taught until I got it correct.  She encouraged me by stating that my goals are achieveable. I am happy I signed up for online training.

April taught my daughter Ballet when she was living in Belgium.  My daughter could not master the 5th position no matter how many times April very nicely corrected her position.  Finally, after the millionth time, or so it seemed, my daughter finally got it.  I have to say April has the patience of a saint, not only that but she's very friendly but a no nonsense instructor.  You are paying her, she will make sure you are getting your money's worth!  She's worth every penny!  Enjoy your toe tapping experience.

April was awesome. She was quite accommodation and she is helping me work on my technique. I already have the basics but she is helping me form the whole picture. I would reccomend her to someone else if they need help with tap!!
