I accept students of all  musical backgrounds beginner to professional. 
All styles of repertoire are encouraged (classical, musical theatre, pop) 
My teaching methods use posture and breathing techniques, influenced in part by Yoga and the Alexander Technique. I strive to help with better body awareness,  tension free singing and exciting exploration of musicality.
I also work with my students on stage presence, phrasing and style to help them deliver their best performance, connect to the joy of singing and the fun of making music!
I can help you start from the very beginning, refresh your skills, gain confidence, and fine tune old and new material.

Hi! I am a classically-trained singer, pianist, active performer and music educator in Portland, Oregon.  I started studying music when I was very young  and earned my degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow, Russia. I started teaching in 1998.
I have extensive experience teaching voice and piano for adults and children of different ability levels and in different music styles. Music brings so much joy into my life and sharing this joy is one of my most favorite things!
