I am a native Italian speaker, and I graduated with a Master’s in Foreign Languages from the University of Florence. I would like to point out that the degree I have in an “Old Style” Laurea: the traditional and more prestigious course of study, previous to the Reform of Italian University.
I am currently employed as a Part-Time Lecturer of Italian Language at La Guardia College and also at Fashion Institute of Technology. I classes in Beginning and Intermediate Italian. I am fluent in the English Language, which I have acquired through my studies as well as through my nine years’ stay in the United States. I could teach either one of the following: Italian Language and Culture (all levels), French Language and Culture (Beginner/Intermediate), Spanish Language and Culture (Beginner).
I also have extensive experience as tutor of Foreign Languages to High School students, college students and adults in general.

differentiated strategies to reach the needs of students of varying ages and abilities.
▪ Plan and organize hands-on activities that encourage active student participation, high level of
engagement, and collaboration.
▪ Incorporate cultural aspects regarding the histroy of textile manufacturing in Italy.
