I am a local musician, recording specialist, composer, and dedicated teacher. Few things are more fulfilling to me than helping others discover a love for music and reach their potential. Creating music is a great passion of mine, as is classical piano.
10 years teaching full time in the Sammamish and Issaquah area.
*** Lesson Details ***
Lessons don't have to be boring and dry! It is possible to learn a lot and still have fun. My approach to teaching is comprehensive, but my style is relaxed and inviting.
Music is so much more than just pushing down a few keys on a keyboard. My students learn how to site read, count, analyze, enhance memory, listen and develop proper technique. It is through these skills that one truly learns an appreciation for music, and begins to mature on an instrument.
Child beginner students get extra special attention from me. Learning piano can sometimes be intimidating, especially for young children. I am well versed in the Frances Clark Music Tree series and have had great success in communicating what can sometimes be abstract concepts to children. My students progress very quickly and develop a sense of confidence on the piano very early on.
