    Trombonist Tony C. is in demand as one of the top freelance trombone artists in the San Francisco Bay area. He frequently performs with many of the professional symphony orchestras in the area including Symphony Silicon Valley, The Santa Rosa Symphony, The Oakland East Bay Symphony, The Marin Symphony, The Fresno Philharmonic, The Monterey Symphony, The Napa Valley Symphony, The California Symphony, The San Francisco Opera and Opera San Jose. He holds the position of principal trombone with the Stockton Symphony and second trombone with the Modesto Symphony and during the summer months Mr. C. is the principal trombonist of the Sunriver Music Festival in Sunriver, OR. Tony graduated from the Manhattan School of Music and has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, The Atlanta Symphony, The San Francisco Symphony and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Among the jazz, and pop artists that Tony has performed with are The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Moody Blues, Yes, Lou Rawls, Tony Bennet, Dianne Schurr, Franky Valley, Vicky Carr, Johnny Mathis and Chris Botti. Tony is on the low brass faculty of Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College. He is also formerly on faculty at San Francisco State University and U C Santa Cruz and has been a guest artist teacher at The University of Oregon. He performs regular educational concerts with his brass quintet the Silicon Valley Brass. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons generally focus on how to be a better musician and how to easily play with the least amount of effort.
