Hello Students,

I am a professionally certified CELTA, ESL and ELA instructor. I love to learn and teach languages. I am from the USA but grew up partially in the United Kingdom. I graduated from Mary Baldwin College, in Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree and an emphasis in Business Administration. After University, I worked in management, compliance and research roles in the oil and gas, and finance industries. After working in the corporate world, I became a professionally certified ESL and Language Arts Instructor. In 2017, I obtained a CELTA certification from a lovely seaside town in the United Kingdom, and have been teaching online since. My hobbies include medicinal plants, cooking, traveling and all outdoor activities.
I find most of my students respond best to authentically modeled dialogue that they may rehearse in the correct grammatical and structural format. Many of my students are interested in improving their grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. I look forward to building your competence in conversing in English.
