I am a professional violinist holding a Bachelor's and Master's degree in violin performance from Duquesne University. In addition to my classical training and performance, I also played traditional Scandinavian music with the Boulder Scandinavian Spelmanslag for nine years, toured extensively playing traditional Eastern European music with the Duquesne University Tamburitzans for two years, and performed/toured with the Argentine Tango ensemble Cuidado for five years. (And once, I got to play for the King and Prime Minister of Uganda!) I love having played in so many varied styles, and consider it a strength in my teaching. I completed training for Suzuki book one and have experience teaching both children and adults, beginners and more advanced players.
