Anne grew up in Germany in a musical household. Her mother is an opera singer and before she retired, was classical voice faculty at the Universität of Oldenburg and Hochschule der Künste in Bremen. With both parents supporting her passion for music, Anne started playing violin when she was 4.5 years old, and played her first concert before she turned 10 years old. She also was involved in several youth orchestras. Her mother has taught her singing from an early age on, and later on, Anne was starring in various cabaret shows in Berlin and Los Angeles between 2000-2010, and has performed on KUVO Denver with the MSU Denver big band as a soloist . Her shows received several reviews in Cabaret Scenes magazine.
Since moving to Colorado in 2011, Anne has been working as a performer and teacher. Also, she has been studying jazz voice performance and classical violin full-time at the Metropolitan State University of Denver since 2012, and will graduate in fall 2016.
Anne does not only teach voice and classical violin, but also bluegrass and jazz violin for beginning students who are interested.
I co-produced the jazz celebration at MSU Denver which took place in April 2014.
