I have been sewing ever since my wonderful Auntie Anne lent me her manual sewing machine one summer. I caught the sewing bug and followed my passion all the way to Ohio State University. Since then, I sew clothes for myself, clients and even have an online store where I custom design clothes. A new passion of mine is sharing these skills with my students. Learning to sew can seem daunting and scary. But fear not. I am very skilled at breaking down this knowledge into bite sized chunks. I specialize in teaching Beginner Sewing. I have a 16 lessons beginner sewing plan that will give you the necessary tools you need to begin your sewing journey. Annelouise is very skilled and knowledgeable. She is amazing at breaking down the details, explaining each step of preparation of your sewing project. I took the class to brush up on my dusty skills and to learn the basics that I never thoroughly understood and After my third class, I felt like I really had learned so much that in my years of sewing, I never knew. She listened to my reasons for taking the lessons and gave advice on where to begin and how to approach the lessons. Annelouise is very sweet and personable, honest and patient. I highly recommend.
