Band for Today

Band For Today has been providing area schools with band and piano programs for twenty five years. Band For Today teachers have instructed more than twenty-five thousand students during that time. We offer schools a full range of music education services including band lessons, concerts, solo contests, honors ensembles, field trips, and Kinderkeys piano lessons.

Robots-4-U

Anne taught the basics of S.T.E.M. using ROBOTS as a hands on tool, I worked both in Project Based Education and Individual structured and unstructured instruction. The kits and programs allowed students to progress at their own speed and learn new skills with every robot built. New Skills include design and building of robots, Engineering trade-offs, Physics, such as gears and pulleys, Programming, Sensors and how robots and humans interact with their environment. I followed a success based model that encourages students to excel, but also realizes that challenges and failure are some of the best ways to learn, by experiencing these and finding solutions to the problems.
