Hello! I'm AnnAnn and I'm excited to hear you play! 

I teach students of different levels, and I adapt to the needs of each student. Students will be asked to study tone and technical exercises in addition to their repertoire to help them progress in both fundamental and musical aspects of their playing.

If the student is studying flute in school, they can bring that material for additional help, or we can work on other repertoire to create further challenges outside of the classroom.

AnnAnn Puttithanasorn is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Flute Performance and Psychology at Bard College. She was an active student in her high school and has held officer positions as drum major and section leader in band and historian for the National Honor Society. AnnAnn is also a QuestBridge Scholar, a Texas Music Scholar, a 2018 Outstanding Soloist at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest, and a John Philip Sousa Award recipient. She has attended summer programs such as Interlochen Arts Camp, MPulse Flute Institute, and the Texas Summer Flute Symposium, where she performed for and studied with Amy Porter, Alexa Still, Matthew Roitstein, and Amanda Blaikie.

AnnAnn is very organized and detailed. Even though our lessons were online, she was able to pinpoint small details and help me fix habits that I didn’t realize I had been doing, and that made my playing so much easier. She really helped me develop my tone and technique, and I really enjoyed my lessons with her!
