About Anna V.
I have been studying classical piano for 13 years since the age of 5. Classical music has served as a tremendous de-stressor for me. I was a solo competition pianist before joining two orchestras during high school and eventually becoming the president of TACAS Symphony in NC.
I have performed at Carnegie Mellon, weddings, and ceremonies both solo and with other types of musicians. However, my passion lies in teaching. I love sharing my knowledge with aspiring pianists for beginner/intermediate levels. My curriculum is based on equal mastery in music theory, technique, note precision, dynamics, expression, and rhythm.
I strongly believe that proper technique and a firm foundation is essential to any type of piano student. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better pianist!
