    Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, violinist Anna Tsukervanik has received praise for her "ferocious" and "sensitive" performances. She gave her first solo performance at the age of eight and at fourteen received First Prize at the Glazunov International Violin Competition in Paris, France. She is also the Grand-Prix winner of the International Violin Competition in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. Anna’s solo appearances include her debut recital at the Lyric Chamber Music Society in New York City, as well as performances with the Gunma Youth Festival Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra in Bukhara. Anna holds a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, NY). She is a graduate of Lynn University (Boca Raton, FL), the State Conservatoire of Uzbekistan, and the Uspensky Special Music Academic Lyceum (Tashkent, Uzbekistan).

    Anna is an excellent and very patient teacher. I am an adult student that has zero experience in music but in the last few weeks I’ve learned how to read music and actually how to use my violin all thanks to Anna.
