I'm a lifelong reader and writer, with a preference for science fiction and fantasy stories and novels. I began writing them because I wasn't finding the kind of reading I desired, and believed I could not be the only person who felt that way. From all indications, I was right, and the response my writing has been very positive. When I was five years old. I was taught to read and write using phonics. It has stood me in good stead, and I highly recommend phonics for that reason. I've seen far too many examples out there of bad grammar and writing and it disturbs me. I am frustrated when I buy a book and I see that grammar, spelling, and sentence structure were apparently ignored by the author. It is a turn-off, and guarantees that I will return the book as soon as possible. I have an off the wall sense of humor, and enjoy people who also have a good sense of humor.
