I started teaching voice in 2002, when I was touring in Europe and Asia. Sometimes after my shows other singers would approach and ask me if I could teach them. I started helping out my friends and colleagues, singers who had problems with their voices and needed my help. It was an incredibly inspiring experience and I felt like that's what I wanted to do all my life. I was learning in the process, and within a year I established my own voice studio where I started teaching everyone who wanted to learn from me. I feel it's my duty to help others, because I know exactly what to do to bring out the best of our beautiful instrument...the instrument of voice!

I was 17 years old when I first met Ann. I had singing classes with other teachers since age of 5, but I still couldn’t control my voice. After the first month of lessons with Ann my range expanded almost to 4 octaves and I finally was able to sing all the contemporary songs that I liked. I started to like my voice and my fear of being on stage was gone!!! Ann is a great coach! She’s talented, experienced and very passionate about sharing her experience and knowledges with others. The road to Perfection is long, but with Ann Souren you can be sure you WILL reach the destination in the shortest possible time!

Ann is an amazing voice teacher, composer, singer and musician! She managed to "open" my voice to its full potential after just one month of training. In addition to that, Ann has broadened my vision about music and introduced me to various genres of music, from old jazz and blues to RnB, neo-soul, funk, etc. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from her!

If you are looking for an excellent vocal coach, look no further! I have had voice lesson since I was 11 years old and had quite a few teachers in my life, but Ann is by far the best I have ever had. I was trained as a classical singer and now switching over to contemporary music. This is quite a challenge. I am so happy I found her because she is the first one who is actually able to help me with that mission. Ann is not only an incredible teacher, she is also one of the most wonderful people I've met in my life. She has high energy, is patient, always encouraging and wants you to be the best singer you can be. I can honestly say she is a blessing!
