Hello! Teaching is special to me because I get to share the gift of music that I have been given with others. I also enjoy meeting people and developing relationships. I especially enjoy teaching young children. My teaching experience began with two piano students, ages 9 and 7 followed soon after by three violin students, ages 10, 8, and 7. Since then, my studio has expanded to include some very talented and eager musicians! I began playing the violin at the age of five. I received a variety of musical instruction throughout the years, but I was mainly taught using the Suzuki method. Classical music remains my favorite to play and listen to, although I also enjoy playing hymns and fiddle tunes. Besides violin, I have also had some piano instruction, during which I studied music theory and fundamentals such as scales and chords.
