I'm Ann, a Multi-Talented Designer with 35 years of sewing experience WHO LOVES TO DESIGN,PERIOD! I also have 25+yrs of floral design & interior decor and will offer those classes later down the line. I"M WHAT People call" A NATURAL"..someone taught the basics by my family, and then self-taught all the Rest. I currently work as a cut and sew designer for private clients, as well as create & decorate events, and homes for private clients I'M A DESIGNER.. so we wont just sew!! WE WILL CULTIVATE YOUR DESIGN ABILITIES..even if you think you have none.. Trust! Every person has some form of creativity in them My classes will start with you learning the basics ,sure, but you'll learn how to design cute pieces from the very beginning, that you will want to show off! My approach to teaching is more relaxed and inclusive...you will make mistakes, because that is how you learn My experience has shown me, the best student learns by doing not watching! This way you learn how to problem solve, develop techniques that work for you ,and make things work based on the way that your brain interprets the project and your hands execute the task Not just trying to do everything the same way I do it....as long as the results are the same, get there whatever way makes it comfortable and easy for you! With me you will learn my personal techniques to doing things that are not always textbook version but i promised you will always feel accomplished and empowered by what you learn. My goal is to help you develop a life long mindset of trying something new, conquering the fear, embracing the work, and mastering the technique! You can learn women's /men's: coats/jackets clothing (pants,tops,skirts,shirts,etc) swimwear athletic wear costuming lingerie dresses & gowns And even home goods with me... you pick what you want to learn how to make and we get started.
