High school is where students begin to create their future, and I want to be able to motivate you on your tremendous journey. As a recent college student myself, I began to imagine a career where I could shape and encourage the wisdom and growth of prospective students. I began by tutoring younger children in math, then progressed to high school students, then ultimately became an undergraduate assistant for an algebra university course. I realized at this moment the impact I had on students and that I would someday want to become an educator. I believe that education is the foundation of success. The type of tutor I wish to become isn’t simply a math tutor. Rather, I would like to be encouraging, motivating, and understanding. From my previous experiences, I have gained a greater understanding of the importance of educators, and I believe that I can make a difference in the lives of students.
