Classical Piano with Anh L.

I've been professional singer, songwriter and producer for the past 5-6 years. I've had musical placements on MTV Europe, BBC Radio1 and Netflix. I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, majoring in Music Production and Songwriting with an emphasis on Contemporary Keyboard. I am passionate in giving my students tools beyond the conventional methods of traditional music lessons. Many teachers, overemphasize virtuosity at the expense of versatility. Traditional music lessons often result in memorization, regurgitation and limit musicians to only what's "on the page." I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to fit every student's visual, auditory and kinesthetic styles of learning. I believe in building a strong technical foundation so they can break any "rule" they wish. In addition to musical skills, my lessons will include the basics to learning how to record yourself and your compositions. Learning how to sing, play piano, and write music is a way to understand yourself. It can also be the foundation to a fruitful, creative career.
