I was born in Romania and first studied and danced classical ballet. I later began the study of voice as a second love and then turned to it full time. I have also been a leading fashion Model in Romania and has appeared not only in many magazines but on TV as a Romanian Hostess to Fashion, in the National Theater of Cluj. I made my debut in the Vocal – Symphonic Repertoire in March 1998 with the Black Sea Philharmonic with the World Premier of the Oratorio “ The Youth of Alexander the Great”. I sang with the Transylvania Philharmonic Orchestra of Cluj followed by the Messiah and Mozart Festival in Cluj. The Repertoire of the soprano grew to include “Carmina Burana” in Cluj, Bistrita and Tirgu Mures. I sang Faure “Requiem” on tour in Spain and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Oradea. I sang a recital of Baroque Aria’s in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Contemporary Composers invited me to Premier their works “The Byzantine Mass” in Arad. I was asked to sing Jocasta, from” Oreste &Oedip” in Paris, and La Madre in” La Passion Di Gregorio”. She also sang” The Last Seven Words of the Redeemer on the Cross”, Mozart Requiem, Brahms Requiem, Stabat Matter Pergolessi, Stabat matter Rossini, Mathew Passion and Johannes Passion. I can also be heard in recordings made in Romania or Opera Arias by Puccini, Bellini and Verdi. I recorded ‘The Last Seven Words of Our Redeemer on the Cross by Haydn, “Oreste & Oedipe” by Cornel Taranu, and “La Passione di Gregorio” by Luis Los Cobos Almarez. A video of “Le nozze di Figaro”, Mozart. I have a great love and have sung many of the heroines of Puccini, Verdi and the French Repertoire. I have performed in many countries, including Luxemburg, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Spain and Israel. *** Lesson Details *** The most important is to have some sort of connective capacity with your students. Need to be creative and I use different approaches to catch the students interest and lay a foundation for the lesson (video, photography, biography of singers) Very Important to make sure that my students understand the material before I proceed to the next step of the lesson. I have a sense of purpose, expectations of success for all students. Willingness to adapt and change to meet student needs.I enjoy my work and students.
