Hey Everyone, My name is Angela. I've been teaching violin for over 15 years and performing for about the same time. Over these last years, I've taught students of all ages and levels and would love to teach you whether you are a very beginner who has never touched a violin or if you are an advanced student prepping for a college audition. My style of teaching is very flexible. I don't use one method as I want to cater what we do in lessons to each student and focus on their needs and goals rather than trudging through some method book. I try to include many different styles of music as well so that you can find a style of music that you connect with and love to play (as not everyone loves playing Bach). I also completed both my bachelor's degree as well as my master's degrees in violin performance with an emphasis on pedagogy, my goal being that I wanted to become the best violinist that I could be and study with the best teachers I could find so that I could pass that knowledge on to you.
