Singing with Angela H.

Angela Jackson-Margolis (stage name Angela Hope) is a UCLA Graduate with a B.A. in English which she received with a full academic scholarship from General Telephone.  Graduating with some impressive  theatre training and credits under her belt, Angela began singing professionally as a studio session singer.  She has worked professionally with Barry White, Nick Trevisick (Tori Amos), Peter Bunetta, Rick Chudacoff, and jazz-trained as a vocalist with Cathy Segal-Garcia Garcia. She has a background in gospel, r&b, jazz, rock and pop. Angela is a producer who professionally mixes and masters music in her home recording studio. She wrote, sang and produced her first CD entitled, “Time For Love,” which was released on cdbaby.com in 2009. Since 2001 she has taught school beginning with First Grade in 2001 through 2003. Since 2004 she has been an itinerant teacher bringing a music studio in the classroom at juvenile detention camps, community day school and regular education classrooms. She is dynamic, funny, and well-liked by her students who feel she really understands them.
