- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
Music is a universal language, one that can evoke powerful memories, ideas, beliefs, and emotions without the use of a single word. Learning to play an instrument allows you to sharpen your coordination and math skills, fosters your perseverance and sense of responsibility, and relieves stress. I consider it a privilege each time I pick up my instrument and create something beautiful, whether it's just for me or for an audience. And I consider it an even greater privilege to get to share this ability with others.
My teaching style differs based on the needs and goals of each student. For younger students, I incorporate games into the lessons that assist in posture and technique. I also like to set up reward systems for students to encourage practice time. For adult learners, we can work together to establish a pace that you are comfortable with depending on what your goals are for the lessons (even if it's just enjoyment!)
If you have any questions about what lessons would entail, you can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
