Andrew is an active musician and professional educator. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, Andrew has taught guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, drum, and rock/pop ensembles in both school and private settings. In addition, he is passionate about writing, playing, and recording original music. He is the primary songwriter, producer, and co-manager of an original band that regularly performs in venues such as World Cafe Live, Grape Room, Trocadero, etc. *** Lesson Details *** My lessons are fun, effective, efficient and relaxed. As a teacher, my primary goal is to provide students with a well-rounded music education. I focus on preparing students to play with other musicians in the style(s) they enjoy! *** Studio Equipment *** 2 acoustic guitars, 3 electric guitars, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, drum kit, and keyboard. *** Travel Equipment *** I have a music stand, and many instruments. A student should have his/her own instrument. *** Specialties *** I specialize in rock, funk, blues and classical guitar. I perform rock, funk, and jazz bass in a wedding ensemble on a regular basis.
