My name is Andrew Wilson. I'm in my early 30s and I've been playing guitar for almost 25 years. I started teaching and playing in bands in the Charlotte, NC area in 2003. I work full-time as a creative planner, music director, and lead guitarist at a church in North Charlotte. I play electric mostly, but will occasionally play acoustic shows around town with a friend of mine. The vast majority of my education has come from the real world of live music, playing in bands and learning from veterans of the industry. I have taken a few classes through Berklee College of Music, one of which was a class offered by Steve Vai in 2011.
I got married in 2014. My wife and I just had our first child in October of 2016.
