Music should be an experience of happiness and joy!  Whether you are picking up a trombone for the very first time, preparing for college entrance auditions, or just wanting to grow in your playing, you will receive a  personalized lesson plan to meet and surpass your goals. 

In my 20 years of musical experience, I have my Bachelor of Music Education (Trombone emphasis) from the Murray State University (Murray, KY).   I've taught a wide range of students -- from children who've never before picked up an instrument, to accomplished high schoolers, to adults who've always wanted to learn and finally have the freedom to do so.  

Through teaching positions from elementary to high school, and playing in numerous bands and genres, I look forward to helping you enjoy and love music as much as I do.

I am a music educator (K-12) and an avid trombone player.  I graduated from Murray State University with Bachelor's of Music Education with a emphasis in trombone.  My versatility, experience and formal training in classical and jazz will help individualize your goals and performance.
