Born, raised and educated (MS) in Russia, I am a professional linguist and a Russian native in my twenty sixth year in the United States. My professional experience includes work for a major news agency back in Russia, several companies in Israel and a law firm in New York, not to mention a number of Russian-language periodicals both in Israel and in the United States. Twelve years ago I started to work for the UN Headquarters in New York as a contract Russian translator for its Russian Verbatim Service at the DGACM - Department of General Assembly and Conference Management, - and this is where I feel, and am, most confident, comfortable and at my very best. However, I am also a trained educator with experience as Adjunct Professor at the St. Peter's University (Russian Studies Program) in Jersey City, NJ, as well as private tutor.
