Dobro Guitar with Andrew K.

I am a professional multi-instrumentalist who specializes in guitar, pedal steel guitar, dobro, and beginner banjo. For many years I have performed and toured nationally and internationally with multiple notable artists including Amos Lee, Jennifer Nettles, Calexico, and more. I have performed headlining shows at many of the nation's most iconic concert venues including Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, The Hollywood Bowl in LA, Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Philadelphia's Academy of Music, and many more. Over the years I have performed on multiple TV shows including Ellen, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and more. After living and working in Nashville for a number of years, I have recently relocated back to my roots which is the PA/NJ area. I have also worked alongside countless local songwriters and musicians in both the Philly and Nashville areas, live and in the studio. I have over a decade of teaching experience from beginner thru advanced, and ages young thru adult. My teaching philosophy is to tailor each lesson to the individual student's needs, goals, and learning style. I encourage my students to have fun while also placing an emphasis on ear training, music theory, and of course practicing. I am Jazz trained and also very well-versed in rock, funk, soul, folk, country, and most any other style of music.
