About Andrew H.
I'm an undergraduate student in music education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In my 3 years at college I have had ample experience teaching ensembles, classes, and one-on-one lessons.
I have experience in ensembles of all types and difficulty levels. I'm well-involved in musical organizations on-campus and when I'm not studying, teaching, or with friends, I spend quite a bit of my time making music with others.
My teaching philosophy is to foster a love for music and music-making while also creating outstanding musicians and people.
I have experience in: high level collegiate concert band, marching band, pep band, chamber ensemble, jazz band, jazz combo, pit orchestra, and orchestra.
