Music has been a lifelong pursuit for me. I have played many instruments over the years while performing with various groups in and out of school. Eventually I decided that music was how I wanted to make my living. Since earning my degree in Instrumental Performance/Jazz Studies from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I have been performing and teaching professionally. I have had the pleasure of studying and working with some of the finest musicians. Each day brings new and exciting challenges to be met. I have really enjoyed the journey to this point and am looking forward to more great things in the future. My lessons are available to anyone who wants to grow musically. They can be as simple or as challenging as you like. I move at your pace and strive for every lesson to be a fun and rewarding learning experience. Whether you want to learn how to play your favorite songs or write a masterpiece of your own, I will help give you the tools to make your musical dreams come true. For kids and beginners I recommend 30 minute lessons. If you are an adult or have more experience, you will get the most from 60 minute sessions. Send me a message if you have any questions. Andrew is a phenomenal teacher and I look forward to lessons each week. He has a laid back style, but is very attentive and in tune to what you are playing and doing. His assessment of your playing style as well as all of the pointers that he gives you throughout each lesson are invaluable. One great tool that he uses, is recording the teachable moments for you to review each week, helping you hone in on what you need to work on. Every piece of music/song that I work on is material that I like to listen to, always keeping my interest up. Overall his musical knowledge base and skills on the guitar will help you achieve your goals on the instrument.

Andrew is the best. I came to him when I had never picked up a bass guitar in my life. I was nervous and embarrassed that I literally knew almost nothing. Starting something new is not easy! Andrew really breaks it down into ways my brain could understand given I was never a music student or any kind. His ability to adjust to the learning style and starting point of the student is amazing and so appreciated. I have now been taking lessons for almost a year and will continue to do so with Andrew.
